Standard folding techniques
I had a look at what sorts of fold there are out there and if there are any that i could use within my cards. I looked at a few tutorials to give me some knowledge so that i can consider is within my design.
I thought i might aswell try some folds and techniques out so i mocked some designs and fold up myself:
By mocking up possible ways that i could create my cards it allowed me to imagine how i could lay out the design and the content of the card to produce something exciting.
Working with different shapes her, going from the initial research where the cards used simple shapes to represent christmas imagery.
